The Dave Thorpe Evo Series will be hosting there own meeting over the weekend of June 7th and 8th for Round 5 of the Championship. This two day meeting will be at Marshfield and will be a fund raising event for ‘Mark Hucklebridge’ who’s cancer has unfortunately returned. Along with the normal DT Evo classes we are adding two additional classes for ‘Friends of Huck’. Class one – Pro/Expert riders and the class two for Vets/Junior’s. Both these classes are open for any bikes, from Twinshock to Moderns with three races per day and trophies for the winners.
As this date does not clash with ‘The British Maxxis’, ‘South West Premier’ or the new ‘MX Nationals’ we can always look at add an additional class, should the demand be there for the support of Huck.
We shall be running an auction on the Saturday evening in aid of Mark and his family and hope that as many of Mark’s friends and former competitors can attend even is they are unable to ride that weekend. We are looking for an event sponsor and businesses to help with advertising and auction prizes.
