HIMX have confirmed the date of February 23
rd for the 2014 Hawkstone International Motocross. The Club had a huge turnout of riders and spectators for the 2012 and due to the poor British weather the 2013 event had to be cancelled, so the HIMX team are hoping the 2014 event will be bigger and better than ever. The Hawkstone International has become one of the biggest International MX Races on the calendar and the UK and International riders use it as a good pre-season shake down before the GP and British Championships kick off.
The first top name to put pen to paper is British star Tommy Searle who is riding for the factory CLS Monster Energy Kawasaki team. Tommy has just completed his debut season in the MX1 class and is excited about his second season in the top class.
Tommy Searle - "I'm really looking forward to riding at Hawkstone, I was all set to ride this year but sadly the event was cancelled so I was happy to put my name down for the 2014 event. It's always good to race in front of the UK fans and it's a real confidence booster for the season ahead and for the Brits to get behind me. Hawkstone is one of my favourite circuits and I hope all goes well in 2014 for the HIMX team and I look forward to meeting the fans there."
Race Secretary Gary Ford said "We're really pleased to have signed up Tommy Searle as the first top rider and it's always a pleasure to welcome him back to Hawkstone, this is great for the crowd as we need the best British riders on show and Tommy is the best. After what happened this year we are really pumped to make the 2014 race really special.

Tickets are only available to buy on the gate and will be £25 per adult including a free race programme and under 14's are free.
Camping will be £20 per pitch - motorhome/tent/caravan.
