The Nora-MX club held its last round of 2013 on 29th September at Grittenham near Swindon and as is traditionally the case at the last meeting of the Nora-MX season, the Club hold a parent/mechanic race as the last race of the day – proceeds are donated to charity.
The Club raised a fantastic £420.00 which they have very kindly donated to the ACU Benevolent Fund.
ACU General Secretary – Gary Thompson commented, “Any donation to the Ben Fund is always greatly appreciated. The Ben Fund is totally reliant on donations which are then used to assist those riders who are injured, but in the first instance the ACU are very much dependent on the good will and hard work of Clubs such as Nora-MX”.
