The tenth round of the British Sidecar Championship at Dob Park on Sunday means a clash of the three wheel giants of British sidecar trialling. Robin and Sam Luscombe head Rupert and Chris Kimber by twenty eight championship points but the presence of former champions Jon Tuck and Matt Sparkes could just throw a spanner in the works for the Luskys.
Peter Dale and Harriet Shore are holding a secure third place. Daryl Dale and Hannah Etherington lead Clubman B from David Tuck and Steve Chandler with a twenty point buffer. Local Yorkies Nigel Scott and Jay Ashley-Hall just lead Robbie Head and Aaron Jacobs with Mark Kemp and Ian Allaway coming up on the rails while Simon Evans and Nick Harding on hand if the leaders falter at the final fence- the Peak Trial.
The trial is centred on Dob Park and keeps within the confines of the scenic Washburn Valley, former home of television soap Emmerdale Farm.
The trials commences at 10.00 am when a solo class leads the sidecar entry. Nearest petrol is at Otley. No camping is permitted at Dob Park.
