The week of preparations in Sardinia are drawing toward a conclusion as the days to the start of the 88th ISDE click down to just three. All of the British team are in the paddock in Olbia, busy in bike preparations and walking the many special tests that they’ll compete on over the coming week. As the final preparations are being put into place team manager Dusty Martin has been reflecting on the support that’s helped the team to this point.
ACU GB ISDE Team Manager, Dusty Martin: “In the coming week the focus is going to shift firmly onto the performances of the team riders, and rightfully so. For that reason, before everything becomes too manic, I think this is an opportune moment to thank all those that have got us here.
“Firstly a huge debt of gratitude must again go to Rygor Commercials for the three Mercedes
trucks that have transported the team bikes and gear to the event. This is the ninth year Rygor has supported the team and unquestionably this is a fantastic level of support that we enjoy from them. Not only do we get the trucks but they are duly sign-written too, enhancing the professional turn out of the team.
“As well, this year we again have the support of Power Enhancer helping us with oils. New to the team are Endurotyres.com, Sosatec Wellbalancer and TBM (Trail Bike & Enduro Magazine). As well, our riders again look to be among the smartest in the paddock thanks to the design and graphics input from Lee Fareham at D-zign (helmets) and Ryan Austin (shirts). Also a word of thanks to all the riders’ personal sponsors, without whom they wouldn’t be here.
