“Countdown to the Anglesey Coastal Conundrum.....”
With the NG Road Racing upcoming Anglesey and heading into the final third of the season long series, any rider who wants end of season championship glory must make a decision….. keep pressing hard…..or sit back and consolidate.

Experience counts for a lot, and the man with that in spades is Welshman Phil Bevan he is looking to add to the 11 titles he already holds, the first of which came back in 2000 on a 996 Ducati. Bevan now uses the Phil Bevan Track Days R1 Yamaha, and despite finding race wins a little thin on the ground (….by his own high standards) he leads both the Phoenix Open and Simon Consulting Powerbikes. Bevan obviously heads the entry list for this meeting. His main challengers include Liam Murtagh on the Corby Kawasaki ZX10, Roo Cotton, and Ben Marsden.  Peter Carr is the main man in the Wayside Garages 600 open on his Pistol Racing ZX6R but and slip up will be jumped on by Andrew Fisher, Chris Hawles and Dave Manley…. All three are podium men but the top step has eluded them in 2013.

Defending National 250GP ACU champ Dan Jackson is another rider looking for the top step of the Anglesey podium. He may well lead the National series but it is by just 9 points over former 600 BSB works rider Chris Martin who has taken 6 wins from six starts on the Dave Dean backed RS250 Honda. Mike Hose and Dave Hampton are also in race winning form.  With a host of other classes packed into the two-day programme we will see battle re-joined between Kevin Davies and Justin Garrett in the Mini Twins, with a similar situation in the Sound of Thunder with this time Darren Rumley and Paul Willis.

Shannon Hale could clinch her third F400 title here with a couple of good podium finishes, and young 125 GP rider Mark Strudwick will be out to increase his lead in both 125 and newcomers series.  Streetstocks, pre injections, 500’s, GP45’s and sidecars are all on the programme at this brilliant circuit for both riders and spectators……be there.

There is a test day on the Friday followed by two full days of action on Saturday and Sunday, with NG Road Racing offering the buy one ride get one free offer for the Sunday (if you have entered Saturday).
