BSEC series prepares to head to Westwood, for the penultimate event of the 2013 championship

Entries are now open for round 6 of the Husqvarna ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship – a one-day event taking place at Westwood, near Sheffield, on August 4th.

Westwood is a large, mature, mixed deciduous woodland, with a vast open floor area that offers a huge variety of flowing tracks and trails. On a sloping site, as well as the many climbs and descents that weave between the trees it also features a stream and grass track areas.

The course that will be used at round 6 of the BSEC series will be suitable to riders of all abilities, just as at previous rounds of the championship. Although likely to be challenging in places, none of the ‘extreme’ sections used for past events will be included. A large amount of virgin ground will be included in the course, with work to ready the venue for the event having already begun.

As with all rounds of the BSEC championship riders wishing to compete at Westwood have the choice of nine classes, including the new for 2013 Clubman Vets and Expert Vets categories – Elite, Under 23, Under 19, 125 Youth, Expert, Expert Vets, Clubman Vets, Clubman, Women.

Riders wishing to compete, or have questions they’d like answering, are kindly asked to email info@enduro-sprint.com.
