Culham Motocross Track was the venue for Round 2 of the British Youth Nationals with sun beaming and blue Skys Practice and Qualifying was ready to kick off at 9am.

With everything running smoothly and the track was in prime condition the 65s were called down to the line for their first race of the day all 4 races were dominated by Jack Carpenter with consistent racing throughout ahead of Jack Galvin in second, Lewis Hall in 3rd. Joel Rizzi took second ahead of Lewis Hall who took a good third in race two and three. Last race on the Saturday for the 65s Lewis grabbed himself second hot on his tail was Drew Kemp.

Next on the track were the small wheels taking the chequered flag in race 1 was Christopher Mills closely followed by Jed Etchells and Tom Grimshaw in third. Harry Kimber got out the gate in race 2 and grabbed top spot with Jed in second ahead of Grimshaw. Kimber was on excellent form and led the way again in race 3, Jed second, Callum Green in third. Race 4 Christopher Mills was on a mission taking the finish flag followed home by Etchells and Nathan Claughan.

Up Next were the big wheels Mitchell Lewis had a cracking start to each race bagging himself 3 out of 4 race wins. In the first race Troy Wilerton was on top form in second, James Mcfayden third.
 Jay Hague had an awesome race from start to finish taking the chequered flag in race 2 closely followed by Mitchell and Albie Wilkie in third. Mitchell yet again had consistent riding with Jay battling throughout the race for top spot, Hague couldn’t match Mitchells pace in this one settling for Second in race 3, David Galvin taking third. Race Four victory went to Mitchell, Jay Hague started mid pack finishing the race in an outstanding second place while Troy Wilerton took third.

Open Youth were next to hit the track Jack Kelly rode hard and fast throughout all Four races noone could match his speed taking all races wins on the Saturday with Brad Todd and Rickie Roderick pushing hard for second place, Rickie settled with third. Race two Rickie didn’t let anyone get in his way in second position followed home by Jay Lamb in third. With Jack Kelly winning race 3 aswell Brad Todd and John Adamson both rode hard for second and third spot.  Last race both Brad and John bagged themselves second and third yet again with outstanding racing throughout.
 
Day Two for Racing riders woke up to yet again bright blue skies and track was in superb condition ready for the Under 23’s Practice and Qualifying to get underway at 9am.

James Dunn qualified 1st with a time of 1:43.525 ahead of Daniel Hutchinson with just under a second time gap difference qualifying in second. Third was Fraser Wakeford, Sam Winterburn in Fourth.

First group to be called down for their first race were the 65’s. Lewis Hall got out the gate for this race with Jack Carpenter a few laps in Lewis took the lead with Jack crashing and losing places. Jack Galvin taking a good second with Curtis Trimble taking a well-deserved third. The Next two races no one was taking the two race victories off Jack Carpenter who rode hard till the end in both races. Lewis Hall secured himself second in race two, Reece Martin third. Last race for them Reece had rode superb through the whole race until the last lap when Lewis Hall had caught up from mid pack making a good pass moving Reece into a decent third place.

Tom Grimshaw was on top form riding consistent and fast in race 1 getting his first race victory of the weekend with Christopher Mills in second, Callum Green third. Harry Kimber won the last two races, Jed Etchells second Christopher in third. Last race Jed pushed hard to get second ahead of Grimshaw in a good third spot in the Small Wheels. .

Mitchell Lewis led the way in the Big Wheels, Jay Hague battled his way through the pack and on the last lap he managed to make a good pass on Mitchell moving him into the lead, with Mitchell moving into second place, Albie Wilkie in third. Next race Mitchell Lewis was in top spot from start to finishing taking the finish flag, Hague in second, Albie grabbing third again. The last race Hague had the win from the start pushing hard throughout the race ahead of Mitchell in second, followed home by Joe Jeffries.

Open Youth were next to race Brad Todd dominated with all 3 race wins on the Sunday, race 1 Jack Kelly got second place with John Adamson in third. The next race John managed to bag himself second for both race two and three with Jack settling for third. 

The Under 23’s were off next Daniel Hutchinson got the holeshot and led the way for a few laps, with James Dunn on his back the Next lap Dunn makes a pass on Dan taking the lead with Dan moving down to second with Frazer Wakeford with a good pace in third closely followed by Sam Winterburn.
 Race 2 Dan gets another great start in top spot battling, pushing hard throughout the whole race, 3 laps to go and James got a good consistent speed getting closer making a pass on Dan with 2 laps to go James pulled away taking the win. Frazer Wakeford in third Sam Winterburn Fourth. Third race of the day for the under 23’s James Dunn took the win with Daniel Hutchinson in second. Frazer Wakeford went home with third place. Last Race Dan yet again got good speed off the start in front of the pack getting the holeshot. Riding consistent throughout the race with James on the back of him. Battling and pushing hard to take the lead off Dan, few laps to go and James makes a pass taking the finish flag on the last lap. Dan went home with second place. Frazer Wakeford in third.
