Derby Phoenix MCC head to Croft on the 9th and 10th July

Matt Stevenson and Lee Wilson will resume their battle for the Derby Phoenix club’s Four-stroke 750-1300cc championship in round three of the series at Croft on July 9th and 10th.

Stevenson, with two wins in the seven races held so far, leads Wilson, who has won four of the other rounds, by just five points, 131 to 126.

The pair will clash in four races at the North Yorkshire circuit, with a possible 100 points up for grabs.

Luke Addison-day tops the ACU Pre-injection class on 109 points, ten clear of Justin Stephenson.

Talented teenager Jordan Rushby leads both the Formula 600 and the Supersport 600 classes, despite a disappointing weekend at round two of the championships at Cadwell Park.

The Croft meeting also includes the fourth round of the FSRA F350, Classic and Pre-Injection sidecar championships, plus the Pete Minion Trophy race.

Practice on the Saturday starts at 9.0am, with racing underway at 10.40am, Warm up on Sunday is 12 noon, with the action beginning at 12.15pm.

Adult admission is £13 on both days, with accompanied children, under 15 free.
