Last year the ACU North Western covered a large 3000 sq ft area with various activities which are planned to be included in this years’ event, such as Bumpy Ltd with “Try our Sport”. Throughout the two days there will be free ‘one to one “taster” tuition’ to members of the public that are interesting in learning how to ride off road. Also returning is the Stunt Monkey Ltd show who will be putting on some amazing Stunt shows for all to watch. To compliment this will be a number of displays from Ian Mackman and the OSETS, which are Youth electric trial bikes riders starting from 4 years old!
The main display will be filled with bikes, outfits and race trucks from each Motorcycle Discipline raced in the North West including Motocross, Speedway, Sprint, Road Race, Grass Track, Trials, Enduro, Scooters and Supermoto. These will be manned by the racers themselves who are very willing to chat to anyone interested in starting out in the various sports.
Visitors will also be able to come and ask questions and get information and relevant paperwork on how they can compete, Marshall or officiate at racing events in the region.
Finally the Live Stage will include interviews with star guests, Trophy Presentations for the Winners of the NW Centre Championship in 2015 and the Strong Man competition, which last year was won by a woman!
The ACU North Western have been inviting all clubs, officials, marshals, teams and riders in the region to come and show their bikes and let people know about their club.
