In 2011 the ACU British Junior Team won the European Junior Nations Championship. However only two of the U23 Enduro squad entered the event this year in Slovakia and the title would not be defended.

ACU squad members Jack Rowland and Robert Johnson of the MPS Husqvarna team had however mounted a UEM campaign, starting the season in Italy and then contesting rounds in Estonia and Latvia before making the long trip to Slovakia for the three day final.

A technical course had been laid out with 3 laps of 65 km to be completed on each of the first two days. There would be an Extreme, Enduro and MX Special test on each lap. The third day would consist of a MX race for all classes

Rob had been on much of a learning curve for the season but had made great improvement and his Special test times improved on each lap of each day and he finished with Championship points in the Junior E1 class. Jack recorded a 4th spot on Day 1 in the Junior Enduro 1 class but improved to take the Runner up spot on Day 2

To secure 3rd place in the European Junior Enduro 1 Championship he would need to finish in top 3 of Sundays MX and this is exactly what he did, giving him that 3rd place both in the event and the Championship.

Both riders have been a credit to the ACU U23 Enduro squad and have received excellent support from many and the MPS Racing squad by supporting these riders have certainly shown that Husqvarna is a force to be reckoned with in the European Enduro Championship
