Wainwright Shield Trial requires observers

Friday June 13, 2014 at 10:48am

The national Wainwright Shield Trial on June 22 is in jeopardy due to shortage of observers for the twenty four section all moorland course at Marsett.

Due to a national clash of trials dates observer shortage is serious. On the same day the Ilkley Motor Club run the Sammy Miller Dales Trial at Pateley

Bridge  while the Richmond Motor Club stage the national Mintex Trophy Youth time and observation trial at Hurst. That makes three national trials in a radius of thirty five miles. Fortunately the Ilkley Motor Club membership certainly guarantees in-house manpower for the Sammy Miller Trial.

If a fine day and brilliant scenery is on the required agenda there is no better place than Marsett and the moors. Any offers to observe can be channelled to Margaret Myers on 01423 781539 or margaretmyers311@btinternet.com or Jill Harker on 01423 712602 jill.harker@hotmail.co.uk
