Following concerns raised by organisers regarding riders entering on 144cc machines for which there is at present no capacity class , it was agreed that with effect from the 1st January 2013 these machines would be included in the E2 class
Further to this, it was agreed that the Classes in ESR 1.6 and the British Sprint Enduro Championship should now be aligned and will appear as follows in the respective regulations
ES1 – Up to 125cc two-stroke & up to 250cc four-stroke
ES2 – Over 125cc to 250cc two-stroke & Over 250cc to 450cc four-stroke
ES3 – Over 250cc two-stroke & Over 450cc four-stroke
