Twenty-two-year-old Jack Price – Gas Gas will arrive at the FlyDSA arena on Saturday 28th December 2019 for the 25thanniversary Sheffield Indoor Trial as the reigning British Trial Champion having clinched the national title for a second time earlier this season.
It will be the fourth time that the young Yorkshireman has had the opportunity to display his undoubted talent on his home patch and in front of several thousand passionate and highly supportive fans. Jack is just one of two seeded British riders in the all-star line-up having more than earned his place alongside his friend and rival James Dabill.
“The World Championship didn’t go to plan this year, but I was happy with taking the British title again and being selected off the back of that to book my place at Sheffield for the fourth time on the bounce. Having both James (Dabill) and me up against the World’s best should be great for the home fans.” Enthused Price.
Jack continued. “The last three times at Sheffield I have failed to make it through to the final, but I was only a few marks away from qualifying back in January. It’s one of the most important events of the year, and with it coming just before the new season starts it would be great to get a good result and make it through to the four-rider final.”
“Sheffield is always big and with it being the 25th anniversary it will be even bigger. It’s mad to think I had barely been born when the first edition was run back in 1996.” Ended the 2019 British Trial Champion.
The full line up for Saturday 28th December has now been confirmed as follows: Toni Bou – Repsol Honda, Adam Raga - TRRS, Jaime Busto – Vertigo, Jeroni Fajardo – Sherco, James Dabill – TBC and Jack Price – Gas Gas as the six seeded riders. They will be joined from the best two from the young guns shoot-out that will include Toby Martyn – Beta, Dan Peace - Sherco, JackPeace - Sherco and Pau Martinez – Vertigo.
