Tuesday May 26, 2015 at 11:48am

This weekend the second round of this year's MAXXIS Championship will take place at Wooley Grange hosted this time by the Iveston and Satley club.

The event will also include round four of the NETT Quad Championship plus a round of the Quad Racing Scotland Championship.

The sidecar entry at the time of going to print was an excellent twenty eight with two wild cards still to be confirmed. Leading the Championship after round one are defending champions, Stuart Brown / Josh Chamberlain who came away from Frome with a maximum 75 points.
Fifteen points adrift in second place are Brett Wilkinson / Steve Kirwin and in third place are Simon Bradford / Luke Peters. Hoping for a better result this week are Daniel and Joe Millard who suffered a DNF in race three at Frome and are fourteen points off a podium position.
Others to look out for are the experienced Paul Pelling now reunited with his passenger, James Morrell, and the current leaders of the Clubmans Championship, Tony Grahame / Scott Lloyd.

To add more spice to the sidecar races the club have been able to obtain sponsorship from Filtec water services Ltd. for a holeshot award in each race.

Incorporated within the sidecar championship races is the National Experts Championship. Current leaders are Grahame / Lloyd with Pannell / Parmenter in second place.

In the Quad Championship there are three youth classes, supports, over 40s and Evos plus the main Quad Championship. After three rounds the leader in the main championship is Dean Culhoun from Oli Samson with Lindsey Duke in third place.

Practice is due to start at 09.00 hrs with the first race following immediately afterwards at approximately 10.00 hrs.

Admission for spectators is £10 per car and the nearest post code for those with SatNav is DL15 9AN.
