Classic Racing Motorcycle Club Heads to Snetterton for Season Finale on October 11/12

At this the final meeting for the CRMC for 2014 most of the championships are still to be decided on Saturday whilst on Sunday some of the most treasured trophies in the club are up for grabs in the Race of the Year events. However the main races are the final rounds of the ACU 350cc Post Classic and ACU 500cc Classic Championship races supported by the ACU. Plus on Sunday there is the Classic Race of Aces with a significant prize fund and open to all CRMC eligible machines.

As an added bonus the CRMC in conjunction with MSV are pleased to announce that Jim Redman will be the Guest of Honour over the weekend. Jim will be there all weekend for autographs, photos and chat plus he will lead out a parade of feature bikes during Sunday lunchtime. He will also assist with the prizegiving and podium ceremonies and award the Jim Redman Trophy. Bikes included in this feature parade and a display in Garage 1 include a 500cc Honda 6, Honda RSC1000, Honda NS500 and ‘Farmer Dick’ Aldous’s 500cc Manx Norton.

A full weekend (nearly 400 racing and parading classic motorcycles) of racing and parading with all classes from 125cc to 1300cc featuring all the classic makes plus of course the spectacular sidecar boys and girls make for a great weekend of historic bike racing. There will also be a band playing on Saturday evening – classic 60’s music of course – in a marquee outside Tyrells. Advance tickets and more details can be found on the MSV website.
