Team Prime Factors Performance House Racing (Stefan Capella/Gary Mason) are the 2014 ACU/Sorrymate.com National Endurance Champions after finishing third in the eighth and penultimate round of the series at Oulton Park.

With one race to go and only 25 points to be won, their closest rivals, Linxcel Trick Moto Racing are 28 points adrift.

Winners of the Oulton Park three-hour race were Yorkshire brothers, Jonathan and James Lodge, racing as Diesolift/Unipart Rail, who beat Linxcel Trick Moto Racing (Hudson Kennagh/Steven Neate) home by 77 seconds. The top three teams all completed 102 laps.

Fourth, two laps adrift, was Silicone Engineering (Malachi Mitchell-Thomas/Russ Mountford/Ben Stafford). The team is now up to fifth place in the points’ table.

Go Racing Developments (Greg Allsop/Andy Carpenter) were fifth home, having completed 99 laps. The result gives them third place in the class, trailing Linxcel by 21 going into the final round.

Gary Johnson, injured at this year’s TT, made a return to racing alongside team owner, Nick Edgeley in Team Edge.

Victory, the fifth of the season in the National 600 series, puts them 16 points ahead of Team Sorrymate.com (Warren Verwey/Colin Norris), going into the Croft meeting.

T. Watson Bikes (Rick Dickinson/Tom Stephens) beat Seven Racing (Tim Forman/Marc Mellon) by just over 27 seconds in the Clubman 1000 class and that slender victory was enough to give them the 2014 title.

Team Army 2 (Wayne Morgan/Richard Spencer-Fleet) made it six wins out of seven races in the Clubman 600 class, giving them an unbeatable lead over Still Game Racing (James Butterworth/David Muir).

With double points at stake in all four of the sprint races at Croft, though, many of those titles are undecided.
