The final round of the Maxxis British Sidecar-cross championship will take place at Little Loveney Hall, Wakes Colne, this weekend with Halstead and DMC hosting the event.
After Sunday’s round at Canada Heights, series leaders Stuart Brown and Josh Chamberlain have extended their lead over Daniel and Joe Millard to 38-points, but with 75-points still up for grabs the title race is far from over.
At last year’s round at Wakes Colne the Millards beat Brown, so they will be looking for a repeat performance, but by a greater margin this time round.
The only other team in with a chance of winning the championship is Jack Etheridge and Ryan Humphrey, who are currently 28-points behind Millard.
Keen to continue their winning ways are Scott Wilkinson and Dan Chamberlain who have closed the gap on Etheridge to 18-points.
With nearly 30 of the countries top teams entered, the racing should be fast and furious right through to the final race.
The penultimate round of the Eastern Centre Solo Motocross Championship will supplement the race programme at Wakes Colne. Entries include Carl Nunn, who heads the Expert points-table after the most recent round at Wattisfield Hall ahead of Aston Bird, Jason Morland and Brad Tomlin. Having his first ride as an Expert will be Brendon Mayers.
The Junior entries include Mason Law, a 15-year old who has had a brilliant season and who heads the Junior points table.
The action starts at 9.30am with practice. The First race is scheduled for 10.45pm. On site refreshments include hot and cold food. Adult admission is £10, and children over 12 priced £5. Under 12s go free.
