DIRT BIKE SHOW FAMILY FUN
International Dirt Bike Show, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, 3rd - 6th November 2011

The International Dirt Bike Show organisers have a packed programme of events scheduled for this year, making a visit to the twelfth off-road exhibition to be held at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire a must-do date for the diary.

Once inside the exhibition halls visitors will of course get hit with all that's best in off-road, as they feast their eyes on the latest bikes and kit. But when a shopping break is required - window or physical - there's plenty of no-cost activities on offer in hall four throughout the duration of the four-day Show.

The Suzuki Off-Road Experience will be in full swing for the first time at the 2011 Show. Using Suzuki DR-Z125 and DR-Z70 models, this feature is where novice riders can get a taste of what it's like to ride off-road. Staying with two wheels, albeit it in a different discipline, BUMPY will be running its trials training taster sessions, where adults of 16 years and over can try their hand at a spot of trials riding. For the budding quadder, a kids' quad riding section will be completely under cover, with four-minute sessions running every day for children aged six and over.

A new fun feature for the youngsters and young-at-heart this November is a Spiderman Climbing Wall, where climbers can move up or down, even upside-down or horizontally sideways on specially made climbing walls. Close by will be a high ropes course christened Mont Blanc, with four metre high platforms and 55 metres of challenging activities.

Back on two wheels, although without an engine, former British Bike Trials Champion and World Championship contender Danny Butler is sure to thrill the crowds with his team's Extreme Mountain Bike Show. Last year the agility and machine control displayed by the guys impressed many and they've promised a host of new tricks this year. Performances will take place four times a day at the front of the exhibition halls entrance. The team will really have their work cut out as, when not performing, they will make their way back into hall four where they'll help out with another new element of this year's Show; a Cyclo Trials try-out arena. Here, seatless bikes with various wheel sizes, similar to those used by Danny, his brother Ash and team-mate Ben Slinger, will be available for anyone to have a go. A kickstart-style course will include a range of different obstacles such as limbo, see-saw and balance bar, with some optional extras thrown in for good measure.

"We anticipate that all these hands-on, free-of-charge activities will be hugely popular and whilst not all strictly off-road, we reckon they'll be popular with visitors and a great source of entertainment," said organiser Joanne Watson. "This year, more than ever before, when it comes to a good family day out, the total cost and keeping all members of the team amused are two prime concerns. We believe we've scored a big plus on both counts."

Advance tickets are now on sale and can be bought from the box office on 0844 581 0735 or via the ticket link at www.dirtbikeshow.co.uk right up until 9pm on Monday 31st October 2011, just three days before the Show opens.
