2010 ACU British Cross Country Championship

Round 1 - Preparations are well under way for the inaugural opening round of ACU British Cross Country Championship which takes place at Chavenage Farm, near Tetbury, Gloucestershire next weekend. Midwest Motor Cycle Club says the track will feature many new sections for this exciting, new national championship such as river crossings, several areas of managed coniferous woodland, flowing valleys which provides great spectator viewing resulting in a circuit length of nearly 8 miles. The action kicks off at 10am with a 2 hour race for Sportsman, Clubman and Over 50's riders and then at 1pm the best of Britain's enduro talent will battle it out over 2.5 hours for honours in the Championship, Clubman Elite, Expert & Expert Over40 classes and with £500 cash prize fund up for grabs for the top 6 Championship riders and product prizes for the top 3 competitors in all other groups the racing should be fast and furious. The venue will be signed off the A46 Bath to Stroud road and the postcode is GL8 8XU or for further details or last minute entries contact Midwest on 01225 791179.
