AN agreement has been reached between the ACU and Norasport to run the British and National Supermoto Championships for the next five years.
The merger is seen as a break-through in moving forward this exciting discipline of motorcycling competition.
Talks with interested parties for the Championship titles are ongoing, and the early response is encouraging. Matters are quickly moving into place for an exciting 2010 Championship series for both British and National contenders of Supermoto.
Frank Carter, Hon. Deputy Chairman of the ACU said: “We now have in place a solid structure consolidating the major players for the next five-years to enable riders, team managers, sponsors and the all important manufacturers to see a clear way forward and get behind this new venture to secure the longer term future of our sport.”
