Following on from the success of this years ACU Star Championship, a 7 round Championship with 3 classes, run alongside existing Club Championships the 2007 ACU Dunlop Tyres MotoStar Cup will be an 8 round Championship catering for a variety of machinery from Sports Production 125’s through to Formula 2 Sidecars.
Available to all competitors at each round will be access for advice from the ACU coaches, some of the Country’s former top racers, such Steve Sawford, Matt Llewellyn, Shaun Brown and Clive Horton on a broad spectrum of topics from circuit knowledge, machine set up through to dietary and fitness requirements.
In addition to these former racers giving their support many companies within the motorcycle industry have also pledged their support to the ACU Dunlop Tyres MotoStar Cup, realising that some of our future World Champions will first show their promise on the MotoStar grids. These companies include Bikesport News, Colin Appleyard, Crescent Motorcycles, Dainese, Derbi, Dunlop, Express Insurance, Goodridge, KAIS Performance, Micron, Motrac Racing, Performance Friction Brakes, Replicast UK, Sabre Sport, Suzuki and Yokohama.

• Motrac Racing 125 Sports Production
• ACU 125 GP, including the Colin Appleyard 125 Academy Cup
• Replicast UK/BikeSport News 250 GP
• ACU Suzuki GSX-R Trophy
• ACU 1000 Sports Production
• Yokohama FSRA F2 Sidecar
To show it’s commitment to new racers each round of the ACU Dunlop Tyres MotoStar Cup will carry an ‘Express Insurance Top Gun Award’ for the highest placed novice in each solo Championship class.
